U.S. President Donald Trump Pardons Binance Founder CZ



U.S. President Donald Trump has granted Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao a pardon, months after the previous alternate CEO confirmed he’d requested for a presidential pardon.

Zhao served 4 months in jail in 2024 after pleading responsible in November 2023 to fees of violating the Financial institution Secrecy Act. As a part of his plea deal, he stepped down from working Binance, the alternate he’d based and helmed since 2017, and agreed to a $50 million superb.
