South Korea-based Yonhap Information Company reported the federal government’s official YouTube channel was hacked on Saturday.
What Occurred: The information company said that at round 3:30 a.m. the YouTube channel was hacked and its title was switched to “SpaceX Make investments.”
Later it broadcasted a video that includes billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk speaking about cryptocurrency.
Based on a screenshot posted by the information company, the video clip was excerpted from an previous interview that Musk gave to Bloomberg Information.
Within the video, Musk was proven speaking about how his corporations had purchased Bitcoin BTC/USD as a “small share” of their money property and mentioned his automaker accepts Dogecoin DOGE/USD.
